Black Authorities Nomex® hood for hard use
Made of true DuPont Nomex®, a premium helmet hood for demanding use. Nomex® has good abrasion resistance and cut protection. Nomex® has excellent chemical resistance, it withstands heat and direct fire excellent. Nomex® does not ignite, melt or tip. When exposed to the flame, it charcoals and forms a protective layer. For this reason, Nomex® clothing is used as underwear to protect the skin, the comfort of material is excellent as the high-quality fabric is soft and flexible.
Flame retardant materials lose their fire resistance and use as fire retardant chemicals are released from tissues. Genuine Nomex® does not need handling! Nomex’s protective properties do not change in the cold or in the heat and do not deteriorate over time.
